Rutabagas

Oil, 8 x 6. I can’t say that I had ever given rutabagas a second glance in the produce aisle. But they were one of the few vegetables to survive in the garden, and made interesting still life subjects.  And savory, sauteed with garlic, onion, and sweet potatoes.
