Raspberries

Oil, 8 x 6. One of the thrills we discovered on the farm was a neglected raspberry patch. We weeded thigh-high thistles, Dave built trellises, the free-range chickens helped keep the bugs and weeds down, and my nieces braved thick mosquitoes to harvest the sweet berries, which seemed like rubies to us.
